The Town of Eagle realizes that an essential part of government responsibility is listening to the ideas, wishes and concerns of its citizens. One simple and effective way to accomplish this is by conducting a community survey. Surveys successfully produce accurate and important results to questions related to the concerns and desires of community members. Surveys randomly select potential respondents from a pool consisting of a broad range of citizen backgrounds, in effect, allowing for results that comprise everyone in Eagle, regardless of background.
In 2004 and 2007, the Town of Eagle conducted a community survey that shed light on a variety of topics. The Town Board of Trustees were able to utilize the results of these surveys and tailor government priorities in a direction that best represents the values of Eagle community members.
In spring of 2013, the Town of Eagle once again conducted a community survey to gain vital information from Eagle residents, and will once again tailor government priorities in a direction that best serves the needs and values of Eagle.
