The Town of Eagle realizes that an essential part of government responsibility is listening to the ideas, wishes and concerns of its citizens. One simple and effective way to accomplish this is by conducting a community survey. Surveys successfully produce accurate and important results to questions related to the concerns and desires of community members. Surveys randomly select potential respondents from a pool consisting of a broad range of citizen backgrounds, in effect, allowing for results that comprise everyone in Eagle, regardless of background.
In 2004, the Town of Eagle conducted a community survey that shed light on a variety of topics. The Town Board of Trustees were able to utilize the results of the 2004 survey and tailor government priority in a direction that best represents the values of Eagle community members.
In 2007, the Town of Eagle will once again conduct a community survey to gain vital information from Eagle residents, and will once again tailor government priority in a direction that best serves the needs and values of Eagle.
