Town of Eagle Call for Volunteers on Land Use Code Committee

EAGLE, CO – The Town of Eagle seeks volunteers to fill seats on the newly formed Land Use Code Committee. For 2018, the Eagle Town Board has budgeted the beginning steps in researching, reviewing and updating the Town’s current Land Use Code. These positions are appointed by the Town Council and are important in public policy development and stewardship of Town assets. The Land Use Code Committee requires a two to three-year commitment from individuals interested in forming policies to support Eagle's future.

Participating on the Land Use Code Committee is an in-depth way for residents to become directly involved in the operation of local government. The Town's Strategic Plan adopted in 2017 has identified Business Values, Standards and Major Objectives that all relate to the importance of empowering our community to create sound policies, plans and investments that enhance the quality of life for Eagle.

The duties and details for Boards, Commissions and Committees, application details and requirements can be found on the Town’s website:
