Accessory Apartments in Single Family Homes

Ordinance - Accessory Apartments; Section 4.04.100.N of the Land Use and Development Code, Title 4. The update will consider amending the standards for size of unit, clarifying how the unit is measured, and allowing units in a detached accessory building as a standalone use.

Mark your calendars for the following Public Meeting dates:

  • Planning & Zoning Commission Public Work Session: November 2, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
  • Planning & Zoning Commission Public Hearing: November 16, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
  • Town Council Public Adoption Hearing: December 14, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.


These public meetings will be held at Eagle Town Hall - 200 Broadway, Eagle, Colorado 81631. The public is also able to attend and provide public comment virtually.
