Town of Eagle announces new Chief of Police

EAGLE, CO – The Town of Eagle is pleased to announce Derek Bos as the Town of Eagle’s new Chief of Police. Bos replaces Joey Staufer, who retired as Chief of Police in June 2022. “All four finalists for the job impressed us but Derek was a standout based on his leadership style and longevity in law enforcement,” said Eagle Town Manager Larry Pardee.

Bos has served as the Chief of Police for Brush, Colorado, since 2018 and held progressively responsible positions for Chaffee County Sheriff’s office from 2008 - 2016.
