The Town contracts out trash service to Vail Honeywagon. They use an automated truck designed to pick up Town designated cans only. All trash must be in these cans, otherwise extra trash will be picked up for an additional fee. Cardboard it can be taken to the recycling bins at the Public Works office at 1050 Chambers Ave. You may receive a second trash can for an additional fee per month if one can is not adequate. Only on a case by case basis will we evaluate a special pickup. Please contact Vail Honeywagon at 970-476-3511 for further information.
The Town does not change the owner name on our utility bills. Your renter can still gain access to the utility bill and pay it using our on-line payment system.
Xpress Bill Pay's system is built to allow multiple users to have access to the same utility account. Landlords can create an Xpress Bill Pay account and link the rental property to their account, allowing them access to view the statement information as well as payments made. Tenants can create an Xpress Bill Pay account and link the same utility account using the account number and the landlord’s last name, giving them the option to view the statement and make payments online. Because both the landlord and tenant have separate accounts they are able to view the same utility statement information but are not able to access each other personal and financial information.
