Community Visitation Snapshots

Beyond the numbers. A few things that caught our attention.
1. Eagle attracted more visitors. Our community welcomed approximately 22,900 visitors and 29,500 trips. Compared to July 2024, both metrics saw an increase with visitors up by nearly 9% and trips up 11%. The data also suggests many people may be returning to Eagle multiple times throughout the month.
2. More visitors are staying overnight. More than half of all trips (54%) were overnight visits, and roughly one-third of those stays lasted between 2-3 nights. Compared to day visitors, overnight guests typically spend more on local lodging, restaurants, retail, and recreation. Eagle is growing as a destination where visitors are choosing to spend time, not simply pass through.
3. Consistent weekday activity. While Saturdays remained a popular day to visit, visitation was relatively balanced throughout the week with Wednesday through Saturday accounting for most of the activity (arrivals and visitor counts).
Taken together, these trends point to an encouraging story for Eagle. More visitors are discovering the community, many are choosing to stay overnight, and activity is extending beyond the traditional weekend rush. For local businesses, this may create opportunities to build customer loyalty, expand weekday offerings, and encourage visitors to explore more of Eagle after a tournament, event, or day on the trails.
