Garden in a Box is back for 2026!

The Town is partnering with Eagle County & Resource Central to bring residents the Garden In A Box program for another year!

Garden In A Box kits provide everything you need to turn your yard into a waterwise, drought-tolerant oasis. The kits are D-I-Y and include quart-sized perennial plants, Plant by Number maps, seasonal maintenance suggestions, and watering schedule recommendations. They're among the easiest ways to convert a turfgrass lawn into a lasting, water-saving resource. 

Gardens are available for view starting January 15th and will be available for purchase starting March 11th.

  2. Sign up for the 2026 Interest List for Seasonal Updates: Shop Garden In a Box Waterwise Kits | Only from Resource Central
  3. Place your order as early as March 11th. 
  4. Pick up your kit at the Eagle River Center (at the Eagle County Fairgrounds) in May or June.
  5. Plant your garden!
