E-bike Rebate Program

E-Bike Rebate Program is now closed.

The Town of Eagle is pleased to offer rebates for eligible electric bike purchases to income-qualified residents.

Transportation is the largest source of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the Town of Eagle, and the second-largest source in Eagle County.

The Town adopted a net-zero goal in 2021 to achieve net zero emissions for the Eagle community by 2030. One of the strategies we can use to achieve this goal is to reduce vehicle miles traveled by promoting and incentivizing alternative transportation methods, such as using an e-bike instead of a car.

The Town seeks to make ownership of e-bikes accessible to all our residents and has implemented this rebate program to do just that. If you are a Town of Eagle resident making up to 100% of the area median income, you are qualified for an e-bike rebate. To receive the rebate, you must commit to using the e-bike to replace trips otherwise taken by a gas- or diesel-powered vehicle.

The rebate program will launch on May 28th, 2024 and close by December 31, 2024.

Rebates will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rebate Rules

Rebates will not exceed the total purchase price of the e-bike.
Rebates will not cover sales tax.
Rebates are limited to one per person and will be first come, first served.

Rebates are limited to two per household and one per person.
Eligible receipts will show e-bike purchase on or after Jan. 1, 2024 and must be submitted within 90 days of purchase.
Apply by December 31, 2024.
