With the arrival of snow and cold weather, elk and deer have returned to the Eagle area, a vital wintering range where they face the challenge of finding limited food and staying warm. To support their survival, it’s important not to approach or disturb these animals and to keep pets leashed and away from wildlife.
As a reminder, the Town of Eagle’s seasonal wildlife trail closures are in effect from December 1 to April 15. Trails and open space properties subject to these restrictions will be closed starting December 1. Thank you for helping protect our local wildlife during this critical time.
