On April 5, 2016, Town of Eagle voters approved a Town of Eagle sales tax rate increase of 0.5% for the issuance of revenue bonds to be repaid from the proceeds of the Town’s sales tax.
Effective July 1, 2016, the new Town of Eagle sales tax rate will be 4.5% for all transactions occurring on or after that date. The 0.5% tax will apply to all transactions that are currently taxable under the Town Sales Tax Code, Title 3 Revenue and Finance.
Retail sales inside the Town limits are taxed at a rate of 8.9%, comprised of:
Colorado State tax 2.9%
Eagle County tax 1.5%
Town of Eagle tax 4.5%
