[ARCHIVED] Eagle Host Clean Up Day and Hard2Recylce Event on May 4

Cleanup Day Paint

The town of Eagle is hosting its annual Clean Up Day and Hard2Recycle event on Saturday, May 4 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Brush Creek Pavilion. The event allows Eagle residents to declutter their homes and responsibly dispose of unwanted items.

Drop-off Stations and Accepted Items
To streamline the process, drop-off stations will be organized as follows and attendees are encouraged to pack vehicles accordingly:

  • Station 1: Trinity Recycling 
    • Appliances, water heaters, metals, tires (maximum of four), motor oil and car and household batteries
  • Station 2: ACTenviro Paint Recycling
    • Non-aerosol paint 
    • No paint thinners
  • Station 3: Vail Honeywagon
    • Furniture, mattresses, tree branches and yard debris
  • Station 4: Alliance Record Service Paper Shredding (sponsored by Eagle Ranch Homeowners Association)
    • Remove all documents from binders before arrival. Only loose paper is accepted. 
  • Station 5: Working Laptops, Tablets and Phones
    • Used laptops, tablets and phones in working condition will be donated to the Computer Literacy Project. Devices will be checked for functionality on site. 

Items Not Accepted

  • Electronics (TVs, monitors, stereos, computers, etc.). See info on station 5 regarding working laptops, tablets and phones
  • Items with refrigerant or freon, including refrigerators
  • Paint thinners and aerosol cans
  • Propane bottles

New! Free Compost: 
Residents enrolled in Eagle’s curbside composting program can bring their container and receive up to eight gallons of finished compost. Compost will be available at the Eagle Community Garden parking lot, across from Brush Creek Park.
