Special Event Funding (1)

The Town of Eagle’s Marketing and Events Advisory Committee (MEAC) will begin accepting funding applications for 2025 special events on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Applications can be accessed at by clicking here and must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23. 

Special Events Funding Requests
Applicants seeking funding for special events must ensure their proposals align with MEAC’s objectives and strategic goals, including: 

  • Enhancing the sense of community among Eagle residents by creating opportunities for connection.
  • Balancing residents’ quality of life with the need for business vitality in Eagle.
  • Supporting events and programs that highlight and protect Eagle’s unique character, traditions and resources.
  • Promoting cultural events and programs that foster diversity.
  • Creating clear, concise and consistent event marketing and communications.
  • Actively collaborating with community partners and stakeholders.

Organizations requesting more than $5,000 in funding are required to present to MEAC on Wednesday, Oct. 9. MEAC will review all applications and make recommendations to the Eagle Town Council, which will determine event funding allocations for 2025 in December 2024. 

Community Grant Funding Requests
Community grant funding is available for organizations that provide educational and enrichment programs benefitting the Eagle community. To qualify for a grant, applicants must meet the following criteria.   

  • Programs must foster a strong sense of community and enhance the quality of life for residents and guests.  
  • Programs should promote leadership development and offer cultural, health and well-being opportunities.
  • Provide a service or program that benefits the Eagle community.
  • Funding requests should not exceed $10,000.
  • Funding cannot be used for a political or religious purpose. 

Community grant applications are reviewed annually and approved through the town’s budget process. Grant funding is at the discretion of the Eagle Town Council, which will take final action on the 2025 budget in December. Applicants may receive full funding, partial funding or no funding.
