The Town of Eagle's Community Development Department provides long-range planning, development review, planning and building department oversight and code enforcement.  We strive to bridge the gap between the community and the Town in all areas relating to the built environment.  Our department is committed to transparency, engagement and equality.

NOTICE OF PHISHING ATTEMPTS:

The Community Development Department is aware of, and would like to bring attention to, phishing attempts to wire payments for active land use applications. Any email correspondence from the Town’s Community Development Department will have an email address that ends in @townofeagle.org. The fraudulent emails may come from an email address ending in @usa.com, or any other domain which is not associated with the Town of Eagle. The Town will never ask for or request a wire transfer. If you are ever in doubt whether an email or call came from the Town’s Community Development Department, please call 970-328-9655 to confirm. You can also report these fraudulent emails to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT STAFF REQUESTS:

The Community Development office is generally open Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During these hours, staff tries to be available by email or phone. We encourage scheduling an appointment for any in-person meeting as staff can be hard to reach walking into the office. To set up an appointment with Planning, please email Planning@townofeagle.org or call (970) 328‑9655.
